Choose from one of our many specialties:

Swedish Relaxation Massage ~ A relaxing spa massage to decrease tension and increase circulation through kneading, stretching and compression of the muscles.  Promotes stress relief, improved circulation, eases anxiety and depression and instills an overall sense of well-being. Swedish is often used in combination with other types of massage.

Deep Tissue Massage ~ A more intense massage, Deep Tissue is commonly used for injury treatment, spasms, chronically tight and painful muscles.  It addresses deeper layers of muscles and tendons with more pressure or intensity than a Swedish relaxation massage. It is important to know that you may experience residual soreness for 24 to 48 hours after receiving treatment.

Sports Massage ~ Focuses on preventing and treating sports-related injuries, as well as enhancing athletic performance. A combination of techniques are used in this fast paced massage.  Sports Massage is specifically designed for people involved in strenuous physical activity. It is very effective in injury recovery and for those who want to reduce their risk of injury to stay at the top of their game.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) ~ This is a very gentle, non-invasive manual technique that has a powerful effect on the body. The skin is stretched and torqued in a specific manner, based on scientific, physiological principles that have proven to encourage lymph flow. MLD assists in the treatment of lymphedema, boosts the immune system, and is an excellent treatment choice for those recovering from surgery. (Tanya Maw, BS, LMT is certified in MLD)

Myofascial Release ~ This very effective treatment helps with loss of flexibility and range of motion restrictions, a great choice for those who have developed postural problems due to chronic injury, desk jobs, or inactivity as well as residual pain and stiffness from old injuries.  This movement therapy can be as gentle as stretching, yet may also be intense while the soft tissue is releasing.

Hot Stone Massage ~ Smooth, comfortably heated stones are placed on the body to warm and loosen muscles and balance energy centers. The therapist may also hold the stones and apply gentle pressure throughout the massage. This modality is ideal for those who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter pressure massage. Hot stones may be added to any massage.

Pregnancy Massage ~ Tailored to the specific needs of the expectant mother, using proper positioning and support techniques.  Also referred to as prenatal massage, this treatment is used to reduce stress, decrease swelling, relieve aches and pains, and reduce anxiety and depression.

We strongly recommend that you consult your physician or midwife prior to treatment.

Cupping Therapy ~ Massage Cupping is used to bring blood flow to stagnant muscles and skin, loosen adhesions, lift connective tissue and soften stubborn knots in the muscles by creating suction and reverse pressure.  Cupping is also beneficial in scar therapy, stimulating the peripheral nervous system and opening lymphatic pathways to drain excess fluid.

Intraoral Therapy ~ An effective treatment for clients who suffer from TMJ dysfunction, headaches or excess jaw tension. While wearing gloves, the therapist works inside the mouth to release the muscles and fascia involved with chewing and jaw clenching. This modality is used in conjunction with massage techniques for the face, scalp and neck muscles that affect jaw alignment and tension. TMJ dysfunctions that can be helped by massage include pain with opening and closing, popping and clicking of the jaw joint, migraines and chronic headaches, teeth grinding and chronic tension due to repetitive oral habits. (Heather Ryan LMT and Tina Metzger LMT are certified in Intraoral Therapy)

Craniosacral Therapy ~Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle non-invasive, hands-on session for the whole body.  Performed on a massage table, the client is fully clothed and the practitioner touch is light and still.  The session focus is to support the inherent health of the whole being, especially the nervous system to support people who are experiencing the wide array of symptoms that can accompany trauma. Whether it is from deeply-rooted experiences of the past, resulting in chronic auto-immune disorders or PTSD, or acute trauma from more recent emotional upset, physical accident or injury.(Tina Metzger LMT is certified in Craniosacral Therapy)
